Soulmate
July 2001

What is this form that it is meant to be?
At night, does it float in the sky and makes my soul so deep?
The constant ponder, "Am I missed, am I in need?"
Are you up there and watching over me
Eye to eye, blood and blood, the hidden seed

Aren't you destined to glance and stare for a while?
Was it you I bumped into when I was a child?
Did I stay in thought so portrayed and sought?
Perhaps the moment of oneness in spirit in soul
Mind to mind, heart to beating heart, Thought I did forget

Is the soul made in oneness of another meant to be?
To change, to rearrange a personal phase of life
In union ship, in corruption, and understanding
In love, in suffer, in the education of life?
In spirit, so healthy but at the same time deadly?

A soul mate, is this the form for what is meant to be?
At the moment this soul mate enchants and deceives
At the turn of the mirror, cleaned and wiped for us to see

And a soul mate, in the form of companionship
To relate and never betray the union ship that is there to stay
At the moment where life seems to strangle us all

What is this form that is meant to be?
Whatever this form is, it is there to make our soul so deep
The constant reinstatement, "I can see, but can you see me?"
You are my soul mate, meant to stay or meant to change
Time to time, gripping hearts, how much longer must I wait
